Thomas J. McKee Thomas J. McKee is the vice president of strategy & business development for Natel Engineering Company, Inc. He reports directly to the President and CEO and is responsible for providing advice on new business opportunities in the aerospace and defense industry. Mr. McKee retired from Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2010 after thirty-three years in numerous positions including customer relations, business development, and operations. Following seven years in the United States Air Force, Mr. McKee began his career at Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Bethpage, NY, in 1977 as a customer requirements representative and later director of Air Force Requirements. In 1988, he was transferred to Grumman's Washington Operations and elected a corporate vice president by the board of directors. Prior to his employment at Grumman, Mr. McKee was commissioned in the United States Air Force and performed duties as a T-38 instructor pilot and check pilot in Air Training Command, and subsequently transferred to the Tactical Air Command where he flew the A-7D. In 1977, he separated from the Air Force and joined the Grumman Corporation. Mr. McKee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Southeast Missouri State University in 1970 and completed the Emerging Executives Program at Pennsylvania State University in 1983. Mr. McKee is a former chairman of the board and national president of the Air Force Association. He also served as chairman of the board and president of AFA's affiliate, the Aerospace Education Foundation, and as a charter trustee of the Air Force Memorial Foundation. He currently serves as a trustee both on the Falcon Foundation at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology in New York City. |
